Your Mini Tri-Ply, Explained
Kkhavo Kitchen Mini Cookware is designed for smaller everyday portions without compromising on cookware construction. The tri-ply body uses three bonded layers that work together:
The aluminium core is enclosed between the stainless-steel layers and is not the food-contact surface.
Compact by Design
Thoughtfully sized for reheating food for two, quick meals for one, children's portions, sides, sauces and smaller everyday preparations. The current mini range comprises a Kadai, Frypan, Saucepan and Square Pan.
Before First Use
A simple first wash is all it needs.
Tri-ply cookware heats efficiently. For most cooking, begin on low to medium heat rather than starting on the highest setting.
How to Cook With Kkhavo Mini Tri-Ply
Tri-ply cookware transfers heat efficiently, so very high heat is usually unnecessary. Start lower and increase heat only when the recipe requires it.
For sautéing or pan-frying, preheat the cookware briefly on low to medium heat, then add oil or fat as required. Because the pieces are compact, they can heat faster than larger cookware.
Use a burner or induction zone that suits the base of the cookware. On gas, keep the flame underneath the base rather than allowing it to travel up the sides.
Do not leave empty cookware heating unattended or on high heat for prolonged periods. Never allow liquids to boil completely dry.
When cooking with water, add salt after the water has warmed and stir to dissolve it. Avoid leaving concentrated salt, strongly acidic foods or salty liquids sitting in the cookware for long periods after cooking.
Allow hot cookware to cool naturally before washing or placing it under cold water. Sudden temperature changes can stress metal, fittings and lids.
Wooden, silicone or smooth-edged utensils are recommended if you want to preserve the finish. Avoid sharp metal tools or cutting food directly inside the cookware.
Because these pieces are intentionally small, make sure the pan sits securely on the stove support. On induction cooktops, pan detection varies by model; check your hob's minimum vessel diameter if the cookware is not detected.
Cleaning & Everyday Care
Keep the routine simple.
- —Allow the cookware to cool before washing.
- —Use mild dishwashing liquid and a soft sponge or non-abrasive cleaning pad.
- —Rinse thoroughly and dry completely after washing.
- —Avoid steel wool, harsh scouring pads and aggressive abrasive cleaners, which can scratch the finish.
- —Avoid chlorine bleach and strong chlorine-based cleaners on stainless steel.
- —Do not leave the cookware soaking for long periods, especially in salty or strongly acidic water.
- —For best appearance and longevity, hand washing is recommended unless the specific product page expressly states otherwise.
Let the pan cool, add warm soapy water and allow the residue to soften before cleaning gently. Do not scrape the cooking surface with knives or other sharp objects.
Stainless steel can develop rainbow-coloured heat tint, white mineral marks, light staining or a change in shine during normal use. These changes are generally cosmetic and do not necessarily affect cooking performance.
For mineral deposits or light rainbow marks, use a suitable stainless-steel cleaner or gently wipe with diluted white vinegar, then wash, rinse and dry thoroughly.
Normal scratches, water spots, heat tint, staining, dulling and other cosmetic changes caused by ordinary use are not manufacturing defects unless they materially affect the cookware's function.
Storage
- —Make sure cookware is clean and fully dry before storing.
- —Store in a cool, dry place.
- —If stacking pieces, place a soft cloth, paper separator or pan protector between them to reduce scratching.
- —Do not store food, salty liquids or water in the cookware for prolonged periods.
There is no need to oil the outside of the stainless-steel cookware simply for storage.

Frequently Asked
What is tri-ply cookware?
Tri-ply cookware uses three bonded layers of metal. In Kkhavo Kitchen Mini Tri-Ply cookware, the construction is an SS 304 food-contact inner layer, an aluminium heat-conducting core and an SS 430 magnetic stainless-steel outer layer.
Is Kkhavo Kitchen cookware induction friendly?
Yes, the magnetic outer layer is designed for induction use. Because the cookware is intentionally compact, some induction hobs may not detect very small vessels. Check the minimum pan-detection diameter specified by your hob manufacturer.
Can I use it on a gas stove?
Yes. Use the smallest suitable burner and keep the flame underneath the base. Make sure the cookware sits securely on the pan support.
Why does stainless steel sometimes show rainbow colours?
Rainbow heat tint can occur on stainless steel after heating. It is generally cosmetic and can often be removed with a suitable stainless-steel cleaner or diluted white vinegar followed by washing and drying.
Are scratches covered by warranty?
Normal surface scratches and cosmetic wear from everyday use are not manufacturing defects. A structural or manufacturing issue is assessed separately under the warranty terms.
Can I put the cookware in the dishwasher?
For best appearance and longevity, hand washing is recommended unless the specific product page expressly states otherwise.
Is it oven safe?
Do not use the cookware in an oven unless the specific product page expressly states that the item is oven safe and provides a verified maximum temperature.
Do I have to register to get the warranty?
Registration is recommended for faster support, but it does not invalidate an otherwise valid warranty claim where reasonable proof of purchase is available.
What is covered for five years?
Manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship that materially affect normal function, subject to the full warranty terms. Normal wear, cosmetic changes, misuse and damage from improper care are excluded.
What should I keep as proof of purchase?
Keep the invoice, order confirmation or another reasonable record showing the product, date and place of purchase.
Can I serve food directly in the cookware?
Yes, the range is designed to move easily from cooking to serving. Avoid leaving salty or strongly acidic food in the cookware for prolonged periods after the meal.
