Veg Pulao

Description

  1. Rinse Kala Namak rice and soak for 20 minutes, then drain.

  2. Heat ghee/oil in a pan, add whole spices (cumin, bay leaf, cloves, cardamom).

  3. Add chopped onions, sauté until golden brown.

  4. Mix in ginger-garlic paste and sauté for a minute.

  5. Add chopped vegetables like carrots, peas, beans, and potatoes.

  6. Add soaked rice and sauté gently for 1–2 minutes.

  7. Pour in water (1:2 ratio), add salt, and cover to cook.

  8. Fluff gently and serve hot with raita or curry.
