Jira Rice with Kala Namak Rice

Description

  1. Soak 1 cup Kala Namak rice for 30 minutes.

  2. In ghee or oil, temper 1 tsp cumin seeds (jira) until fragrant.

  3. Add soaked rice, 2 cups water, and salt.

  4. Cover and cook until rice is fluffy and water is absorbed.
    Serve with dal, curry, or raita for a comforting meal.
